Council Committed to Ensuring Additional PMP for Asian Games Project

Jakarta Legislative (DPRD) assured, the availability of additional funds allocation on the government investment (PMP) filed by PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) is reaching Rp 2.1 trillion.

Construction of three projects for 2018 Asian Games by PT Jakpro is the task of the central government

"Construction of three projects for 2018 Asian Games by PT Jakpro is the task of the central government. We're ready to support to finish it on time," disclosed James Arifin Sianipar, Secretary of Jakarta DPRD Commission C, Monday (2/27).

James added, additional funds would be obtained from income, which until now has not been credited by the central government to City Provincial Government.

Council Supports Additional Fund on PMP for Asian Games Project

"City will receive two income sectors from the central government in mid-2017, which is Rp 4 trillion. It is from special allocation and profit sharing on reception of tax amnesty," he expressed.

James asked PT Jakpro to attach the accountability report about PMP fund obtained from last year's City Budget (APBD).

"The mechanism is like that. From last year's budget, how much is being absorbed. If it is not used, it will be decided via council meeting to be transferred in part to project funding," he expressed.

Earlier, PT Jakpro President Director, Satya Heragandhi explained that additional fund is still required to support the project of Kelapa Gading-Velodrome Light Rail Transit (LRT), Equestrian and Velodrome.

"We still need funds by Rp 2.1 trillion to develop such projects. We're trying to realize it through APBD. Its document is under preparation to get council approval," he finished.
